The colorful and constantly updated National Commission for Culture and the Arts website provides a comprehensive survey of the history and culture of the Philippines with multiple links and features. Below are listed merely the links that suit our purpose, but the whole site is worth a good week of perusing.
The following sites are uploaded versions of the American government reports on the newly acquired Philippines and are invaluable not only for the many specific details of the Negrito populations they survey but also for the profound insight they offer into white American racism and the prevailing Eurocentrism of the 19th century in which these editorializing scholars were schooled.
